Spotlight: Kaito

Take a quick look through @Kaito’s Instagram feed and you’ll find an array of celebrities that are legendary through their own fields of work. From Diddy to Jay Z, Drake to Diddy, Quavo to Diddy, DJ Khalid to Diddy, A$AP Rocky to Diddy… Diddy makes an appearance a lot because @Kaito is his in-house camera man. And the name behind @Kaito and the one capturing the images? Photographer and now one of Diddy’s creative directors Carlos Araujo.

Let’s Talk About Boys – Boy Bands, That Is!

Following on from the last post, Girl Bands Now & Then: What Makes Them So Popular?, it would only be fair to give the boys some recognition too!

After finding a box of CDs in my room last week, it was as though I’d come across a time capsule! Filled with albums by the Spice Girls, Girls Aloud, Steps, and boy-bands like Blue, *N Sync, Boyzone, a1 and 5ive, it was a box straight from my childhood! (Not to mention the fact that I’d also found my Game Boy Colour minutes earlier…)

Featuring the American rapper 2 Chainz, the song is definitely one that is aiming to be heard worldwide. With lyrics such as ‘Sydney, what’s going down. New York, what’s going down. LA, what’s going down. Vegas, what’s going down…, it is clear to see that Tinie wants people all over the world to be dancing to this track.
